A server-to-server callback URL used to notify an affiliate tracker when a conversion event occurs.
A postback URL (also called server-to-server tracking, S2S postback, or conversion callback) is a mechanism where an advertiser's server sends an HTTP request to your tracker's server when a conversion happens. Unlike pixel-based tracking (which relies on browser cookies), postback URLs work server-to-server and are more reliable.
The flow works like this: when a user clicks your affiliate link, your tracker appends a unique click ID to the destination URL. When that user converts, the advertiser fires the postback URL with that click ID, allowing your tracker to match the conversion to the original click.
1. User clicks: yoursite.com/offer → Tracker appends click_id: offer.com?click_id=abc123 2. User converts (signs up, purchases, etc.) 3. Advertiser fires postback: GET https://tracker.com/conversion?click_id=abc123 4. Tracker records conversion against click abc123
When you enable conversion tracking on a GeoRedir smart link, the system automatically appends a click_id parameter to your redirect destinations. Configure the advertiser to fire a postback to GeoRedir's conversion endpoint when a conversion happens.
