Analytics Overview

GeoRedir tracks every click on your smart links in real time. The analytics dashboard gives you a bird's-eye view of your traffic, including total clicks, unique visitors, top countries, and device breakdown.

Access analytics from your dashboard or by clicking on any individual link. Link-level analytics show data specific to that smart link, while the dashboard shows aggregated stats across all links.

Click Data

For each click, GeoRedir records:

• Timestamp — When the click occurred
• Country & Region — Visitor's geographic location
• Device Type — Mobile, desktop, or tablet
• Operating System — iOS, Android, Windows, macOS, Linux
• Browser — Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge
• Referrer — Where the click came from
• Unique vs Duplicate — Whether this IP has clicked before within 24 hours
• Destination — Which rule matched and where the visitor was sent

Geographic Breakdown

The geographic section shows a breakdown of clicks by country. Use this to:

• Identify which countries send the most traffic
• Spot countries with high click volume but no geo rule (they're hitting your fallback)
• Compare conversion rates between countries
• Decide which markets to prioritize with specific geo rules

Device Statistics

See the mobile/desktop/tablet split for your traffic. If mobile is dominant, consider adding device-specific rules to route mobile users to app stores or mobile-optimized pages.

Date Ranges & Filters

Use the date range picker to view analytics for specific time periods. You can also filter by:

• Country — Focus on a specific market
• Device — See only mobile or desktop traffic
• Browser — Identify browser-specific issues
• OS — Compare iOS vs Android performance

Exporting Data

Use the GeoRedir API to export analytics data programmatically. The GET /api/v1/public/analytics/{id} endpoint returns click data for any smart link, filterable by date range.
